What a shame the promised snow didn't arrive as we would have been forced longer!
From the warm welcome to our farewells (especially the spectacular breakfast in between) it was a joy to stay at Talbot House.

Thank you Julie and Jill for a fab stay in the newly re-furbished Talbot House. We received a really warm welcome and the Silver Room was beautifully decorated. Our hosts had thought of everything including real milk for our tea and coffee and wine glasses in the room. We'll definitely be back and will be recommending you to our friends.
Try the Willow (behind Talbot House) the food is really lovely!

Feedback: We have just returned from a lovely weekend at the Talbot House, We first visited this hotel on our honeymoon 25 years ago and returned for the first time in Oct. We were greeted by both Julie and Jill who made us feel so very welcome. The rooms were fabulous and the facilites fantastic, we will most definately be returning in the near furture! Feedback: Stayed for the weekend at Talbot House and discovered a real gem of a place. We were some of the first guests to stay there after the place had been extensively refurbished by the new owners. We enjoyed our stay immensely, due in part to the pleasant company of Jill and Julie, a fabulous spread at breakfast and our quaint comfortable room overlooking the main street. We have booked again for a longer stay in the New Year - looking forward to it already.

We visited Talbot House today with a view to booking 3 rooms in October. Julie & Jill were very welcoming & informative. They took the time to show us a couple of the vacant rooms & we were impressed with the accommodation/facilites. We appreciate them taking the time out to do this as it must be very hectic, with just opening, We look forward to enjoying some Yorkshire hospitality here next month!
